These landscapes are inspired by BELLE ILE Sea where he often stayed for his work as an architect and the Gulf of Morbihan.
It is based on the memories and especially the imagination to build your own scenery.
The overseas, it uses only the blue, is declining throughout its range, at the root of all his works.

Pont-Aven artists, Sud Finistère en Bretagne

Called the City of Painters,

Pont Aven is known globally for being a vacation spot for art lovers.

For those who have never visited, who do not know, this village (less 3000 have) c is, in fact, a huge open-air gallery.

Let me explain :

Pont Aven, what are some 15 Art galleries declining art of the late 18th to the present. A few 6 or 7 are open virtually all year, especially in winter weekends and holidays.

But what the visitor knows less, is that it is nearly thirty’Artists who create and exhibit, course outside of galleries to the above mentioned, in various places in the city center or periphery. These artists often call their place “Gallery Untel” This brings confusion, because their locations, given that they are creating, are in fact, artists' studios and galleries not.

Among the painters who live permanently, create and open their studios to the year, (except holidays or personal trips, of course), I will quote some : Corine Boucher, Carmel of the Pinta, Chamming's, Christian Ruiz, Yves Donval, Gharlic, Guenaizia, Padrig, Georges Civel, Brigitte Corvec, Yvette Chassaigne, Frederic Tonnerre, , …. this list is not exhaustive, there are many others as well as many galleries, art professionals, (To discover this page) May nothing with them, you already have an impressive cameo on the diversity of artistic expressions of Pont-Aven.
This is not counting, School, la Pont Aven School of Contemporary Art ou POST, pantry that an educational program dedicated to the development of visual artists. This installed in the premises of the CIAC Foundation annually hosts, an impressive number of American students, but also other countries, that for a few weeks to several months, study the visual and conceptual art. They occur at the end of stay, an exhibition of their work.

It's also not counting, Canopies the residences Workshops Pont-Aven ! Under the leadership of Europe and the Ministry of Culture, Following a commission, projects by artists from all countries, are presented, then studied and a number of people are invited to come and worked in residence at will with provision of shelter by the common, supply of materials necessary for the realization of their project by the program, etc.…Unfortunately, due to the refurbishment of the museum Pont Aven, the windows are closing their doors. Hope that this is only a temporary closure awaits the completion reopened in 2014.

And then of course, in this city that breathes artists since the 1830-1840, it is normal there is a museum. The Municipal Museum of Pont-Aven was created at the initiative of a few fans of the School of Pont Aven, including the Friends of Gauguin first, subsequently renamed, Friends of the Museum of Pont-Aven and Catherine Puget, ankle and soul working in the development of pictorial heritage of this school, who fully commit to the project 1983, to see inaugurate the Museum 1985. It will be named Curator of Pont Aven , Newspaper article about it., replaced by Estelle in Fresneau 2003 .

The year 2011 saw a beautiful installation colorful fall into place. During the summer, strange colorful characters have continued to go up the Aven to regain the Jardin D'Anaïs, which took place that year, the birth of a new world driven by 365 declarations of love and friendship participants from five continents. A nice contemporary tale to forge links between people and between the ages, this old world we leave the shore and this new world to which small- children and great grandchildren are moving.

In 2012, these characters having grown, gave birth to a whole book, surreal tale illustrated and a new installation Bois d'Amour with the same name the book.

Feel free to come on this city that many foreign countries envy us and is a unique gathering of artistic, concentration of artistic creation in many areas and that on an annual basis and constant.

This is becoming a typical and friendly village, where the reception of its tourism stakeholders, hotels, restaurants, is not to question and where the stay is pleasant between Land and Sea.
