Feast of La Belle Angele

Since 1905, Billet Villeroché, Chief Magistrate of Concarneau, launches the festival that supports families of fishermen and celebrates the work of these brave sailors. The festival begins with music, songs and drama and continues with a Breton costume contest and the election of the first queen. It runs the 18, 19, 20 et 21 August 2011.

Feast of Apples

Since 1913, Fouesnant, the feast of apple trees begin to honor the cider, apple juice and the market with regional products. Evening, dance, the sea shanties and fest-noz are honored. Sunday evening, folklore continues and ends with a fireworks. This event runs from this Friday 15 July to Monday 18 July 2011.
