The Cavalier King Charles is one of the nicest dogs that is.

On a rather low, it will never show an ounce of malice or aggression. This is the ultimate companion dog !

Family of Spaniels, much smaller than the French or Brittany spaniels, le Cavalier King Charles Blenheim is nowadays quite common in families. This breed originated in 1924, but it comes from a much older English race: the King Charles Spaniel which was historically very popular with the Royal Family.
Legend has it that 1704 Sarah the Duchess, wife of John Churchill, Duke of Marlborough, being worried about her husband, party to fight the battle of Lead Home. She spent the evening stroking the head of her dog who was waiting in scope. The next, all had a small spot on the head at the location of the thumb of the Duchess, hence the name given to these dogs to the dress is white and tan : Cavalier King Charles Blenheim.
