The Land of Gauguin

 

Called the City of Painters,

 

Pont Aven is known globally for being a vacation spot for art lovers.

For those who have never visited, who do not know, this village (less 3000 have) c is, in fact, a huge open-air gallery.

Let me explain :

This is not counting, School, la Pont Aven School of Contemporary Art ou POST, pantry that an educational program dedicated to the development of visual artists. They occur at the end of stay, an exhibition of their work.

The Municipal Museum of Pont-Aven was created at the initiative of a few fans of the School of Pont Aven, including the Friends of Gauguin first, subsequently renamed, Friends of the Museum of Pont-Aven and Catherine Puget, ankle and soul working in the development of pictorial heritage of this school, who fully commit to the project 1983, to see inaugurate the Museum 1985.
