2. The Concert Venue
For the time being, Global'Art will use mainly 2 concert venues ;
La Chapelle Ste Barbe Nevez
Space St Guénolé in Pont-Aven (closed from December to February inclusive)
2.1 Chapelle Ste Barbe Nevez
The building dates from the late 15th century, to serve, before the 19th century, a parish church, before the construction of the current building on the site. Since that time, the chapel served the cult of episodically. She was the center of a Placître today denatured elevation of houses in the 19th and 20th centuries. The Latin cross plan is deformed by a north sacristy adjoining between the nave and north transept. The cradle wood paneling is painted. The Chapel of St. Barbara is a great place for a concert of intimate Jazz, and the acoustics are excellent.
2.2 St Guénolé space in Pont-Aven
The building was rebuilt in the Domaine de Pont-Aven by HMC Spring Hotels on the basis of the old school St Guénolé in Pont-Aven. It was rebuilt from the walls of the old classrooms of the school and with a shape that is reminiscent of local chapels in the region.
3. Purpose of these concerts

Both originate in Auray (56400) practice vocal technique for many years and are coached by Nathalie HERCZOG, graduate status in professional music training and singer Brittany region. Passionate jazz, they are also parts of the Jazz Workshop from Auray 2008. The Duke ELLINGTON aux VRP, via The Andrews Sisters, Georges GERSHWING, Glenn MILLER a Read Sea Girls, they revisit jazz standards with "burlesquerie", of times as delicious as original, they like to surprise and innovate with a lot of talent.
The Girls Sing "Eat nougat" and tell the story of "Jean-Rene ', "Retired", of "Bob the ant" or of "the bullfighter Antonio" through times and compositions, far from being a directory but especially black outlet ! The irony, sometimes a bit of mockery against a world that deserves, they say aloud what people think but with great finesse and an irresistible way to deal with large and small originality about life. They love shift and mix genres, humor glamor, they go to the subtleties of trivia with a very thorough job of vocal technique.

His mother, Andrée Davis-Boyer has put the world at the same time she gave birth to a formula that was fly : the scopitone ! Thus during his childhood, au cap d'Antibes, Florence Davis has long rubbed shoulders with the stars of the international song and… du jazz, including Dizzy Gillespie, the friend and godfather, with which she sang again.

Manon The contraction of the words 'Manouche and Breton'
Major Swing Quartet explores the possibilities offered by a jazz original : a violet, two guitars and a bass. The only acoustic project, highlights en avant, in his compositions a unique sound universe, with colorful themes and rhythmic chopped. Singing and improvisation are central in an acoustic repertoire that does not have any influence. The group continues to develop its music and enchants his audience every concert. In 2010, Major swing released his first self-produced CD “Manon”. After many concerts, festivals and crossing off the scene Jazz In Marciac 2011, Quartet task to discover his work to an audience increasingly wide.
